Patriots, it’s with a heavy heart to inform you that we have lost a true Patriot. PFC Allen Richard Alger served Honorably in the United States Army assigned as a 82CIF Arty Surveyor with Battery A 1/320th Artillery. His awards include The Parachute Badge, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Medal, Marksman Medal M-16
Allen loved serving the veterans and was a past Post Commander for VFW Post 6060 in Elizabeth City where he also served on the Honor Guard for many years
Allen was a servant hearted man, serving together with his wife in children’s ministry at Calvary Chapel, Seneca Falls, NY (formerly called The First Baptist Church of Seneca Falls) and in the Walk to Emmaus ministry in NC and NY. They also served with prison ministry at Auburn correctional facility in Auburn, NY, leading retreats and Bible Studies.
