Corporal James Monroe Roundtree served our country honorably in the Korean War. After his discharge from Service, he pursued his college education at Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth, North Carolina, under the GI Bill where he majored in Physical Education. Later in life he became the owner and founder of Roundtree & Associates Funeral Home.
During his Honorable Service he was awarded the following; National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Korean Service Medal.

11:45 Mount up to ride to family resident where we will Escort the family to White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 4501 Mobley Bridge Road, Grimesland, North Carolina 27837, for Homegoing Celebration.
After arrival immediately set the flag line for the arrival of family and friends.
Following the commencement of the Service we will stand down and prepare for escort after the service to: Homestead Memorial Gardens, 4251 E 10th Street, Greenville, North Carolina 27858.
Military Honors will be rendered at the cemetery.
