AEC Thomas Francis "Tom" McBride, Jr. U.S. Coast Guard Retired, was a master electrician and competent C-130 Flight Engineer Instructor who had served the Nation in the Coast Guard for over 21 years. He was a member of the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer's Association.
His list of awards include: Secretary’s Outstanding Unit Award; USCG Unit Commendation w/Gold Star and “O” Device; USCH Meritorious Unit Commendation w/Gold Star and “O” Device; USCG Bicentennial Unit Commendation; USCG Good Conduct Award (6 awards); National Defense Service medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Humanitarian Service Medal w/Gold Star; USCG Achievement Medal; and the USCG Rifleman Marksman Ribbon.
We will stage and conduct our brief. Following the brief, we will mount up and proceed to the family residence and escort them to the church. We will set the Flag Line at the Church for the arrival of additional family and friends as they arrive for his Celebration of Life. We will Stand Tall and Show Respect as Military Honors are rendered.
