The family of U.S. Army veteran Lester “Les” Ernest Gebert has requested Patriot Guard Riders’ (PGR) support for their fallen hero. Mr. Gebert passed on 3 February 2021 at the age of 78. Les Gebert served honorably in the Army from 1962 to 1965. He later worked as a member of the Citizen on Patrol program alongside the local police departments. He refurbished bicycles and provided them to children in need. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, one son, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. This mission consists of two flag lines: (1) prior to the funeral service being conducted at Boles Funeral Home – Saint Pauls, NC; (2) graveside at Oak Ridge Cemetery - Saint Pauls, NC.

Stage & Briefing: 11:30 am. Flag Line #1: 12:00 pm. – 1:00 pm. Location: Boles Funeral Home, 565 W. McLean Street, St. Pauls, NC. Flag Line #2: 2:30 pm. – 3:00 pm. Location: Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1019 W. Broad Street, St. Pauls, NC.
Temperatures are expected to be 52-55 degrees), with less than 10% of precipitation. Motorcycles are not required. I am honored to be the POC and RCIC for this mission.
