The family of U.S. Army retired veteran Walter Horne Jr has requested Patriot Guard Riders’ (PGR) support for their fallen hero. SFC Horne passed on 27 January 2021 at the age of 68.



SFC Walter Horne Jr served honorably for 20 years, after entering the Army in September, 1974. He worked as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Operator (63B). [Full obituary can be viewed at the web-page of the Unity Funeral Home of Fayetteville, NC].



This mission consists only of a motorcycle escort for the family (from their home to Unity Chapel at 1037 71st School Road, Fayetteville).



Date: 6 February 2021 (Saturday)



Stage & Briefing: 10:00 am.

Location: Motorcycles will assemble in the Food Lion parking lot (102 N. Reilly Rd) at the intersection of Reilly and Morganton Roads, Fayetteville, NC.

Meet Family at their home: 10:30 am.

Escort KSU from home: 1040 am.

(Note: Escort mission terminates at the Unity Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Georgia.)



Temperatures are expected to be 45-50 degrees), with no chance of precipitation. Large flags on motorcycles are requested.
