The family of U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran Douglas McArthur Thornhill has requested Patriot Guard Riders’ (PGR) support for their fallen hero. He passed on 2 February 2021 at the age of 77.
Doug Thornhill entered the Army and served this nation with a tour in Vietnam. After military service Doug worked for, and retired from, Goodyear, as a Defects Analyst.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, five Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild [Full obituary can be viewed at the web-page of the Crumpler Funeral Home of Red Springs, NC].

This mission consists of standing two Flag Lines, both at the Funeral Home (1) prior to the Service; (2) After the Service, as family receives friends.

Date: 7 February 2021 (Sunday)

Stage & Briefing: 12:45 pm.
Location: Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Avenue, Red Springs, NC.
Flag Line #1: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
Flag Line #2: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
(Note: Burial will be private at a later date.)
