Patriots we have been to stand in honor of Jimmy Lynn Burchette
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Joyce Burchette, daughter Karen Benson(Alan), son Tony Burchette, Granddaughter Heather Forster(Brandon)Great Granchildren Lacey, Eloise, and Jack Forster. Sister Dianne Ingram.
He served in the Army in France during the Korean War .He was awarded the Good Conduct and National Defense Medals.
He later moved to Raleigh, where he met his wife Joyce. Jimmy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He entered the office machine repair industry and retired as a service manager. Jimmy was also involved with volunteering with NC Baptist Men with the Baptist State Convention for many years. Upon career retirement he was able to devote more volunteer time with NC Baptist Men.
Jimmy was an active member of Samaria Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC, where he faithfully served in many roles within the church.
