Patriots we have been call to stand in Honor of CWO4

John Edward Winstead, enlisted with the United States Marine Corps at an early age serving in the Marine Corps Aviation Department. Throughout his time in service, he advanced in rank to Gunnery Sergeant and was later selected to serve the warrant ranks through CW04. John served 28 years with honor and dignity, retiring as a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He was award the Sliver Star, Purple Heart ,Aviator Wings numerous other medals, John as a Major with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and also their helicopter pilot .He retired with 20 years of honorable service.
