About the Mission:

The Snowball Express is coming through Fayetteville! This is our opportunity to greet these Gold Star families at the parking location, accompany them to the airport, assist them through ticketing and TSA screening and spend time with them at the gate, prior to boarding the plane. There are always festivities provided at the gate by American Airlines which we can enjoy with these families. Don't forget to wear your best Christmas accessories!

Instructions:

Please park in the short term parking lot. After a quick briefing (@ 8:40 AM), we will disperse to locate and assist families arriving for SBE 2024.

Primary to this mission will be the requirement to bring a smile and a willingness to spend a little time with the families of our fallen heroes. We’ll handle baggage, park cars, interact with children, give hugs and make smiles happen. Please keep in mind we will at all times enforce a two person rule – absolutely no PGR volunteer will be alone with any child during this mission.

The airport normally provides complementary parking – bring your parking ticket to the SBE check-in counter to have it validated. You are encouraged to wear Christmas gear!
