About the Mission:

Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit, non-partisan organization that builds and donates specially adapted, custom homes nationwide for severely injured post 9/11 Veterans. Since its inception in 2004, HFOT has built over 400 homes in 45 states, with an additional 63 projects underway!

They are excited to announce that Homes for Our Troops is building a specially adapted custom home in Pinehurst, NC for Army Sergeant First Class (SFC) Jake Green.

During his service, Sergeant First Class Green deployed to Afghanistan four times and did two other deployments supporting the Global War on Terror in which he sustained severe damage to his right leg during combat operations while in Afghanistan. After years of trying to salvage the leg, doctors amputated his leg in 2015.

This event serves as an opportunity to honor SFC Green's service to our country and welcome him to the neighborhood!

Distance of Escort: 0.2 miles (1 Minute)

We will provide an escort for the veteran from the church to his custom built home for the ceremony.

At the start of the dedication ceremony, we are invited to stay and attend.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
