About the Mission:

The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing a silent flag-line during the visitation of family and friends for Floyd L. Trimmer. Visitation will be 1:00PM -2:00PM Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Village Baptist Church. After 32 years of service, he retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel and served with the Special Forces.

His military awards include the following: Army Service Ribbon, Meritorious Service Medal (with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters), Soldier Medal, Bronze Star Medal (3), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal (with Bronze Service Star), Air Medal 3 (with V Device), Army Commendation Medal (with Combat Distinguishing Device "V", Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Aircraft Crewmember Badge, Master Parachute Badge, and Legion of Merit.
