Once again, the Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand for one who stood honorably for us. U.S. Air Force veteran James “Jim” Raymond Hemingway passed away on Thursday, 1 April 2021, at the age of 88. (Burial with military honors)
Jim is survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, four nieces, one nephew, four great-nephews and two great-nieces. (Full obituary can be viewed at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home in Fayetteville, NC.) He was well loved and will be dearly missed by friends and family.
This is a two-part mission: (1) Escort family from home to cemetery; (2) Flag Line at graveside service.
Date: 8 April 2021 (Thursday). Staging & Briefing: 12:00 pm (noon) Escort Assembly Location: Rogers & Breece Funeral Home, 500 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. // We will accompany Funeral Home Family Car (KSU 1215 pm) to family residence. Once family is loaded, we will escort to Cemetery. //
Graveside Location: Lafayette Memorial Park West, 6701 Raeford Road, Fayetteville. Graveside Flag Line: Immediately upon escort arrival at cemetery (1:00 pm). If you are unable to accompany the escort, please arrive at the graveside location NLT 12:40 pm (Flags will be prepositioned).
Temperatures are expected to be 76-81 degrees with no chance of precipitation. Motorcycles and bike-mounted flags are welcome for the family escort. Flag Line flags will be furnished.
