About the Mission:
Patriots we have been called to stand and escort a hero Sgt. John Thomas Barnes Jr. who was awarded the National Defense, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign w/60 device, Army Commendation w1/olc, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm medals and the Air Medal, Sharpshooter Badge M-16. He served with Co. B 1st BN 18th Infantry 1st Infantry Division as a Infantryman. As Sgt Barnes Jr stood for us it will be our honor to stand and escort him to his final duty station.

Brief: 9:00 AM and prepare for a honor flag line for visitation staring at 9:30 AM
Stand Down: 10:30 at beginning of service and prepare for a escort.
KSU: 11:30 AM Escort to Eastern Carolina Veteran Cemetery 164 Long Plant Rd Goldsboro NC 27534 where we will establish a honor flag line for services with military honors. At end of service, we will quietly depart.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
