The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing a silent flag-line during the visitation of family and friends for William Norman Hernden. Visitation will be 11:00AM -1:00PM Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. He served his country for over 20 years, retiring from the Army with the rank of Sergeant First Class. SFC Hernden was a decorated Veteran.
His military awards include the following: Meritorious Service Medal (2nd Award), Army Commendation Medal (6th Award), Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Humanitarian Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award), and Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver-W Bar.
