About the Mission:

The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing a silent flag-line during the Celebration of Life service for Sidney Dwight Redding. The service will be 3:00PM -5:0PM Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Lafayette Funeral Home. He served his country for over 15 years, retiring from the Army with the rank of Sergeant First Class. SFC Redding was a decorated Veteran.

His military awards include the following: Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Parachutist Badge, Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Army Commendation Medal (6 Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (2 Oak Leaf Cluster), Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Driver Badge, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Joint Meritious Unit Award, and Humanitarian Service Medal (2nd Award).
