About the Mission:

The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of escorting James Michael Hawley and his family from Lafayette Funeral Home to Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery and then standing a silent flag-line before the service. Sergeant Hawley served his country honorably and retired from the United States Army.

His military awards include the following: Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Meal (3rd Award), National Defense Service Meal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/ Two Campaign Stars, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, and Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2nd Award).
