Mark Allen Myers, originally from Indiana, served his country faithfully and honorably in the United States Army and retired with 26 years of service. This Green Beret MSG was awarded the Ecuadorian Parachutist Badge, Honduran Parachute Badge, Bronze Star Medal (2nd AWD), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3rdAWD), Army Commendation Medal (4th AWD), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award (5thAWD), and the USA/USAF Presidential Unit Citation.

9:30 am - Escort to JFK Memorial Chapel, Zabitosky Rd and Ardennes St., Fort Liberty, NC 28307 with LEO and MP's once on the Fort.
NOTE: ALL ENTERING THE BASE MUST HAVE MILITARY ID OR VISITOR PASS TO BE ADMITTED.
NO WEAPONS.
THOSE RIDING BIKES MUST ADHERE TO BASE REQUIREMENTS - LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS, HELMETS, GLOVES, BOOTS, ETC.
10:00 am - Stand flag line for visitation
11:00 am - Stand down flag line and prepare for escort to
Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390

12:00 pm - Arrival at Sandhills Cemetery, dismount and stand a flag line for Military Honors.
12:30 pm - Quiet departure
