The Patriot Guard Riders have the honor of standing a silent flag-line during the visitation for John Vincent Trioli at Lafayette Funeral Home. He served his country for over ten years, retiring from the Army with the rank of Master Sergeant. MSG Trioli was a decorated Veteran.
His military awards include the following: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Presidential Unit Citation (Army-Air Force), Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal (2nd Award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross W/Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar, Combat Infantryman Badge, Parachutist Badge, Special Forces Tab, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, and Canadian Parachutist Badge.
