Born on July 26, 1938, in Toronto, SFC Ross Murchie Brown led a life filled with duty, honor, and love. He proudly served his country honorably for twenty-four years in the U.S. Army before retirement and later as a Texas Police Constable for twenty-five years, exemplifying bravery and commitment throughout his career. During his time in the Army SFC Brown earned the following awards; Overseas Service Bars (2 awards), Germn Army Marksman Badge ( Bronze, Silver and Gold awards), National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Vietnam Service Medal (2 awards), Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Air Medal, Silver Star (2 Awards), Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, Presidential Unti Citation, Bronze Star Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal (7 awards). He was Involved in the Vietnam Counteroffensive Phase VII and Sanctuary Counteroffensive.
This will be a Flag Line only Mission. SFC Brown will be laid to rest at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

We will brief at 1:10pm and set the Flag line at 1:15 for the arrival of Family and Friends. We will maintain the Flag Line until the completion of the Celebration of Life. No one is to approach the family or Funeral Home staff except the listed RCIC, unless so directed.
