Patriots of the NCPGR, it is with deep sadness that I report the loss of one of own’s Grandson. Gary “Yankee” Williams, a well-known and respected Ride Captain in the Northeast District, lost his 16 yr. old grandson, a passenger in a tragic automobile accident. We, as a PGR Family, will be Standing to Support Gary and his Family at the Service and Visitation, on the saddest day of a Family’s life.
This is a GO-IF-YOU-PLEASE MISSION.
Dyllan Andrew Troiano, born on January 4, 2008, in Milford, Massachusetts, tragically passed away on February 11, 2024, in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. At the tender age of 16 years, Dyllan’s life was cut short, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
Dyllan was a remarkable young man who had a zest for life and a multitude of interests. He was a devoted fan of basketball, with a deep admiration for the Golden State Warriors, particularly his favorite player, Steph Curry. Dyllan possessed exceptional intelligence and was a proud member of the national BETA club. He treasured his collection of expensive basketball shoes, which were reserved solely for the court. Alongside his athletic passion, Dyllan found joy in playing Fortnite and other video games, including NBA 2K. He had a charming sense of humor and loved making others laugh.
To pay tribute to Dyllan’s life, visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service – Ahoskie Chapel in Ahoskie, NC. Funeral services will follow on the same day at 4:00 pm, also at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service. The service will be officiated by Pastor Josh Butler.
The family has set up a gofundme account for the unexpected cost the family will incur from this terrible accident.
