Gideon joined the Reserves in October of 1977. He was discharged in September of 1985. Gideon served his country honorably in the U.S. Army Reserve. He also held memberships with Disabled American Veterans and the Coinjock American Legion Post #288.

We will Stage at Twiford’s Funeral Home then depart at 1:00 PM to the family's home to escort the family to Westlawn for a 2:00 PM interment ceremony. We will establish a flag line at Westlawn. Twiford’s will be providing Honors.
Flags will be provided.
