Goldsboro, North Carolina - January 30, 2024
About the Mission:
Patriots we have been called to stand for a member of the greatest generation Boatswain Mate Second Class Woodrow James Anderson who served in the United States Navy during World War II, Woodrow served on the USS Philadelphia in the Mediterranean Sea and the USS Topeka in the Pacific Ocean. While serving in Japan, he was fortunate to witness the signing of the Peace Treaty between the United States and Japan in Tokyo Bay. He was awarded the European African Area Ribbon (4 stars), American Area Ribbon, World War II Victory Medal. As Boatswain 2C Anderson stood for us it will be our Honor to stand and escort him to his final duty station.
Stage 2 Details:
January 30, 2024 -- 1:00 PM
Stage: 1:00 PM Seymour Funeral Home 1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro NC 27534
Brief: 1:15 PM
KSU: 1:30 PM Escort to Wayne Memorial Park 2925 US HWY 117 South Dudley NC 28333 where we will dismount and form a honor flag line for services with military honors. Then quietly depart.
