Once again the Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to escort and stand a flag line for one who stood for Us.
David Lee Smyre served his country honorably in the US Army as a motor transport operator.
The Hero earned the following awards:
Army Service Ribbon
Overseas Service Ribbon
Army Commendation Medal
Good Conduct Medal
Marksman Badge M16 Rifle
Drivers Badge
Mission Date: 2Oct23
Staging Time: 8:45 AM
Staging Location: Rutledge and Bingham FH, 603 S. Center St., Statesville, NC 28677 Map: maps.app.goo.gl/cwh9DqvpW1rc5nmS8
Briefing Time: 8:50AM
After the briefing we shall mount up and go by the family residence to lead the family to Salisbury National Cemetery where we shall form the flag line for the remainder of the service with military honors.
