About the Mission:
CMSgt Robert “Bob” Hathcock, 83, of Linden passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 17, 2023. Bob was born on October 10, 1939, in Fort Worth, TX. Bob had a distinguished military career, serving in the Air Force for 30 years. After retiring from the military, Bob went on to graduate from Methodist University with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Psychology in 1988.
CMSgt Hathcock’s Awards and Decorations are as follows: AF Accommodation Medal, AF Good Conduct Medal (with silver and bronze oak leaf clusters), Good Conduct Medal (with 2 loops), AF Longevity Ribbon (with silver and bronze oak leaf clusters), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (with 3 bronze service stars), Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross (with palm device), and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
