Platoon Sergeant First Class John “Jack” Capwell, U.S. Army, served our country honorably for 24 years and served in Vietnam. His awards include: Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal (4), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Occupational Medal (Berlin), Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Medal and the Expert Infantry Badge

Set the Line for the Dignified Transfer 7:30 AM
KSU 7:45 AM
We will stage and render the proper Salute for the dignified transfer from the Funeral Home to the Coach. We will then mount up and prepare to escort PSFC Capwell to the interstate ramp in Chesapeake, Va. where he will continue his travels to Arlington National Cemetery. There he will Rest in Peace for Eternity.
We will not be escorting past the ramp as the Family and Funeral Home have insisted on no escort on the Interstate.
Those VAPGR wishing to take part in the escort can meet at the staging area in Elizabeth City.
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
