About the Mission:
Patriots we have been requested to stand in Honor OF SP/4 Thomas Jay Troutman who served with the 5-1st Cavalry at Ft Wainwright Alaska. He graduated from Fayetteville Christian (FCS) High School, and Appalachian State University (ASU). He excelled at ASU in the IT/Business curriculum, earning a 4.67 GPA, and subsequently worked as an IT Server Engineer for BB&T, prior to entering service. Thomas was a God loving, athletic, and a highly intelligent young man. Yet, he was also a Patriot, who wanted to serve his country. He was a centerfielder on (4) consecutive 17U/19U N.C. State Championship summer-league teams, that competed in World Series competition in Ozark, Alabama; LaFayette, Louisiana; and Charleston, South Carolina.
