Northeast - Cpl. Willie G. Sanderlin USA Korea Purple Heart

Patriots, it is with a saddened heart I inform you that we have lost yet another great Hero. Cpl. Willie Clifton Sanderlin served gallantly in the U.S. Army in Korea. Wounded twice, on two separate occasions earning two separate Purple Heart Awards, he continued to answer our Nation’s call to arms.
After his discharge from the Army, he worked for the Ford Assembly plant in Norfolk, Va. for 46 years. He was a life member of the local VFW, Post 6060 and a member of the American Legion.
We were invited to Stand and attend Cpl. Sanderlin’s Celebration of Life earlier and the family appreciated us so greatly, they have again invited us to Show Honor And Respect for their Dad and loved one.

Twiford Funeral Home

Elizabeth City, NC 27909
We will stage at the Funeral Home and wait for the arrival of the family. Upon their arrival we will escort them to the Westlawn Cemetery where we will set the Flag Line for the committal service for Cpl. Sanderlin. Military Honors will be performed by both the NCNG and the VFW Post 6060 Honor Guard. We will render the appropriate Honors.
