The Patriot Guard Riders honor our fallen active duty military, veterans of the military and First Responders that have died in the line of duty. We do this by attending their funerals at the request of their families. Founded in 2005 to shield families of fallen heroes from those that would disrupt the services of their loved ones, the Patriot Guard Riders has grown to include thousands of members across all 50 states in the US. We are a 100% volunteer 501(c)(3) organization.
You can join the National Patriot Guard organization at PATRIOTGUARD.ORG. There are no dues or fees. The funerals that we attend are referred to as Missions. The missions for North Carolina are posted in this forum. You can attend a mission in your area by following the instructions in the mission post regarding staging time and location. You can check the calendar for missions in your area.
You do not need to be a veteran or ride a motorcycle. You must simply have a desire to show Honor and Respect to those that have served our country.

it is a Honor to stand for our Veterans and First Responders. AS we stand there for our Veterans, we can get lumps in our throats, tears in our eyes. I have been on the other side of that flag line. seeing all the flags, all the patriots standing for a love one. and when we the ride captains say, the family was so thankful for us being there. I can say for sure it means the world to see the PGR there.
