1stLT William “Billy” Weatherly Pinner, Jr. served our Country Honorably with the 2/32 Armor Battalion, 3rd Armored Division Ayer’s Kaserne, FRG, “The Outlaws”, in Germany. He was known amongst his Outlaw brothers as “Bill the Cat.” His band of brothers noted that he was the embodiment of the spirit and soul of his military battalion.
A natural born prodigy, he possessed a rare gift that allowed him to play music by ear and make notes come together beautifully. Throughout his education, he absorbed knowledge like a sponge and made learning look easy. He was pursued by many Ivy League schools for his sharp intellect. His wonderful sense of humor, contagious laugh, warm nature, curiosity, and devotion to family and his country were unmatched and have left a lasting mark on all those who loved him.
