Linda Marshall Stroud

Linda Marshall Stroud of Youngsville, born September 15, 1949, passed away peacefully at home on Monday evening May 2, 2022.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Emitt and Eloise Marshall and in-laws, George and Mary “Bug” Stroud.
Linda’s family loved her dearly. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Phil Stroud, their son, Reid and his wife, Darlene, along with their children and their son, Gunner and his wife Dee, and their children.
The hardest job Linda had was putting up with Phil for 55 years. Her most rewarding job was raising their two sons, and her favorite job of all was being Mamma to their four grandchildren, Will, Hailey, Rebecca, and Garrett Stroud. In her eyes, the sun rose and set in her grandchildren. Linda was Phil’s SUNSHINE for 56 years.
Services will be held on Thursday May 5, 2022 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Pastor David Sims will officiate the service beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
We are a casual family, please come as you are.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at The Heritage View Clubhouse, 1250 Heritage Club Avenue Wake Forest.
Stage: 1:00 pm Bright Funeral Home 405 S Main St Wake Forrest NC 27587 (parking lot)
Brief: 1:15 pm prepare bikes for escort after 2:00 pm service to Pine Forest Memorial Garden 770 Stadium Dr. Wake Forest NC 27587 where we will dismount and stand in honor.
