Pvt 1st Class Vance will be coming into Charlotte Wednesday July 31 scheduled to land at 6:15 PM. This will be an escort out of the airport to I-77 North. The hero will be going to Princeton, West Virgina. We will get the family up to I-77 and highway 115 in Troutman where we will exit the freeway. The funeral home knows this and understands that safety is our main goal with these escorts.
PVT 1 class Vance was killed in the Battle of France and buried at the Ardenees American Cemetery in Belgium. He was identified by the inscription of his weapon that was with his remains. His cousin Ferrell has spent years trying to locate his uncle. With the help of an organization non-profit group in France Vance was located and identified.
