Honor Mission SFC Joshua Motta, Retired US Army Southern Pines, North Carolina - July 23, 2024 About the Mission:
Born in Plymouth County, MA he was a son of Kurt Motta and Betsy Frost. Josh grew up in Wareham, MA and graduated from Wareham High School. He joined the US Army in 1995 and served 20 years, retiring from Ft. Bragg, in 2015. He received his bachelor’s degree from AMU and was currently working on his master's degree. He was a recipient of: the Bronze Star and many other service medals. He was currently working on base as a Special Forces Training Specialist. Briefing: 9:00 AM Flag-line: 9:00 AM We will secure during the service and prepare to escort the veteran and family members to Sandhills Veteran Cemetery. 8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390 Those not able to attend the service or escort can meet at Sandhills Veteran Cemetery at 11:30 AM Flag-line: 12:00 PM, with military honors, we will then depart the area. Flags & Water: Flags will be provided. If you have large bike flags, please bring them. Water will be provided.
