PFC Wallace Purvis served our country honorable in the United State Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter (Rifle). PFC Purvis was also a member of Disabled American Veteran Chapter 37 and Vietnam Veteran of America Chapter 272 both of Pitt County, Greenville, North Carolina
