ABOUT THE MISSION:
Patriots! once again we have been ask to honor this fine great Hero. Mr. Paul Prewitt served in the United States Army from 1942-1945 after receiving his draft notice in January. Mr. Prewitt joined the US Army shortly right after his brother lost his life during the Pearl Harbor attack in that same month. Mr. Prewitt served overseas under U.S. Gen. George S. Patton, driving trucks delivering ammunition and food to the front lines. Mr. Prewitt was part of three invasions and five campaigns until September 1945. Mr. Prewitt departed the Army to seek a career as an deputy commissioner with the U.S. Department of labor in DC until his retirement in1978. Mr. Prewitt was honored with the Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honor by the French government , and was honored by NC Governor Roy Cooper with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award. Mr. Prewitt will 101 years old on 23 March 2021 so let come out and honor this birthday and the wisdom he still has.

All Patriot guard members, we will stage at Eden City Hall parking lot at 308 E. Stadium Drive, Eden NC at 12.00 pm for a safety briefing prior to a drive by of Mr. Prewitt home to honor his long career and life. The PGR will lead the Parade and be escorted by Eden PD and Sheriff Department as well. As I get more info I will brief each and everyone on any new info prior to the escort. I will stage flags at Mr. Prewitt home per his request prior to the drive by. Please be safe and to see everyone there.
