His awards include: Drill SGT Badge, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Army Marksmanship badge for M-14 Sharpshooter, M-16 Sharpshooter.

We will prepare to depart from the Church to escort the family to the service. Upon our return we will dismount and stand a flag line for the entry of family and friends. We will take a small break and wait for the end of service standing a flag line for the departure of family. Graveside service TBD, escort to Goldsboro Veterans Cemetery is being planned. Military Honors to be conducted at Graveside service.
